MW Consulting works directly with individuals, organizations and companies to assist them in their real estate development project needs. Our primary role is to assist in managing the entire real estate development process – from initial concept to the start of operations to the finished project.

While the owner is responsible for decision making, we coordinate the work of the development team, serving as a central point of contact for communication and assist in the owner’s decision making process by providing advice and guidance to the owner.

In addition, we take on a number of specific tasks either independently or in conjunction with other members of the development team.

During our Site Assessment process we will:

  1. Determine land boundaries and land-use patterns
  2. Provide crucial information of the environmental impact of the proposed project
  3. Provide a body of knowledge on the site that can be adopted during project planning and execution

  1. Work with owner/investor/developer (we are not the decision-maker — the control over the project remains with the owner/investor)
  2. We are responsible for the process, coordinating the development team, and acting as a trusted advisor for key decisions along the way

We are the funnel through which communication and coordination with all other project team members flow. Like the quarterback on a football team, they provide the owner/investor, and the team, with expert analysis, advice, and clarification to make each play (phase) of the project successful at moving the game (project) forward.

Our Construction management services provide the project's owner(s) with effective management of the project's schedule, cost, quality, safety, scope, and function.

We will work with the architect/engineer, who is responsible for designing the project.

We will work with the general contractor, who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and manages subcontractors.

Our Construction Management Services includes Six Stages of Construction:

Our construction project closeout is the final phase of our construction project and a vital part of our construction management services. This phase occurs after physical construction has been completed, but before the project is actually turned over to the owner and it includes some or if not all of the following:

  • Formally transfer all deliverables
  • Certificate of Substantial Completion
  • Confirm project completion
  • Completed Punchlist
  • Design Team Approvals

Real estate development is a complex and iterative process that relies on the skills, efforts, and knowledge of multiple professional disciplines to be successful. MW Consulting RE Development Training program presents the basic elements of the real estate development process in a convenient manner.

MW Consulting RE Development Training program is presented over six sessions. This program is designed to introduce public and private sector professionals to the fundamental steps and analyses that developers and other professionals engage in during the real estate development process. The objective of the series is to provide a broad understanding of the development process from building a project budget to valuing raw land before purchase and to finance concepts used by lenders.
